ENTACT maintains a Corporate Quality Management Plan (QMP) to provide the fundamental structure of our environmental quality systems and procedures that are subsequently developed into project specific Quality Assurance Project Plans, Construction Quality Control Plans, Field Sampling and Analysis Plans, etc. The QMP is reviewed on an annual basis to reconfirm suitability and effectiveness of the quality management practices. The QMP describes the structure of ENTACT’s environmental quality system and describes policies, procedures, criteria for and areas of application, and roles, responsibilities, and authorities related to the quality system. The QMP specifically addresses systems for planning, implementation, assessment, corrective action, and improvement of quality.
ENTACT believes that the basis for our quality systems revolves around our associates and strives to educate within all areas of the company. In an effort to facilitate this objective, ENTACT has created an in-house training center for classroom and field training of all disciplines. All quality assurance personnel and others throughout the company attend annual training sessions to learn and share experiences as well as challenges. These sessions are used to explore systems within our daily routines, branch into new areas, discuss changes, and ways of improvement. As part of our training program, an internal corporate QA/QC Handbook has been developed to provide field personnel with on overview of applicable regulations, roles and responsibilities, guidance for documentation, specific sampling and handling procedures, field instrument use and calibration, and waste management documentation. The handbook is used within the field as a reference and supplement to the project specific QAPP. |
