ENTACT initially served this major aggregate miner and supplier by replacing a cutoff wall more than 9,000 feet high. This successful project established ENTACT as the Client’s dedicated slurry wall contractor. Building on that relationship, we constructed a bentonite slurry wall to minimize dewatering efforts and facilitate dry mining operations. This collaborative effort ensured minimal disruption to mining operations while effectively managing groundwater. On this project, ENTACT:

• Constructed a 7,438-foot-long, 30-inch-wide soil-bentonite slurry wall
• Identified and protected subsurface utility lines within the proposed slurry wall alignments
• Coordinated daily construction operations with active mining activities
