Meet our leaders

Dean Pisani

Chief Executive Officer

Dean Pisani has been with ENTACT since the company’s inaugural year and has played a pivotal role in shaping its growth and success over the past 33 years. Dean has held a variety of leadership and project management positions, culminating in his current role as President & CEO, a position he has held for 24 years. Before joining ENTACT, Dean gained valuable experience at Xerox Corporation, where he served in various sales roles. Dean attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he majored in economics and was also a member of the football team. He and his wife currently reside in the Dallas, Texas area.

Erik Gehringer

Chief Operations Officer

As Chief Operations Officer, Erik Gehringer is responsible for the company’s operations, engineering efforts and the overall success of ENTACT projects. He brings more than 20 years of environmental, geotechnical and civil construction experience to ENTACT.

Before joining ENTACT in 2002, Mr. Gehringer worked at IT Corporation. Mr. Gehringer attended Rutgers University, where he earned his civil engineering degree.

Cody Compton

Chief Financial Officer

Cody Compton, ENTACT’s Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for all aspects of the company’s accounting and finance functions. He brings more than 20 years of financial and accounting experience in a variety of sectors and roles.

Mr. Compton began his career in the Fort Worth office of PricewaterhouseCoopers in the assurance practice serving a wide variety of clients and industries. He then went on to serve as CFO for private equity backed companies in the energy sector (IACX Energy LLC and Fluid Delivery Solutions, LLC).

A certified public accountant, Mr. Compton graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor in Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Science in Finance.

Scott Chafin

Chief Commercial Officer

Scott Chafin started his career at ENTACT 30 years ago, helping to grow the company from a startup to the premier provider of environmental remediation and geotechnical construction services in the U.S.

He currently serves as the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing business development, marketing, talent management and corporate responsibility efforts for the organization.

Mr. Chafin graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a political science degree.

Jeremy Tyler

Chief People Officer

As Chief People Officer, Jeremy Tyler is responsible for leading the company’s human capital function including human resources, talent development, talent acquisition and retention.  He brings more than 20 years of experience with over 15 years serving in management positions within the oil & gas, industrial engineering, procurement & construction (EPC), maintenance, chemical, energy, and IT/technology industries.

Prior to ENTACT, Mr. Tyler served as Vice President Human Resources for S&B Engineers and Constructors, Ltd. He achieved a degree in Computer Systems Occupational Technology and holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) credential.
