Remediation and Stone Jetty Improvements in a Dynamic Aquatic Environment

This project was performed by White Lake Dock & Dredge, a division of ENTACT. Scope of work involved both dredging and stone jetty improvements for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. All work was conducted in a shallow tidal environment, ensuring compliance with environmental standards. Throughout this project, our team:

  • Dredged more than 30,000 cubic yards of sediment from inner and outer harbors and conveyed it to a confined disposal facility (CDF)
  • Graded and replaced weir box outlet control structures within the CDF
  • Repaired jetty rock revetments along 925 feet of breakwater, utilizing more than 6,000 tons of stone, placement of geotextile, underlayer stone installation, and covering with armor stone weighing up to 2.8 tons
