ENTACT performed remediation of this former MGP Site/Power Generation Facility in preparation for redevelopment. Scope of work included excavation and management of 550,000 cubic yards of metals, PAH, and TPH impacted soils; removal of 34,000 square feet of asbestos containing material and demolition of a 15,000 square foot 4-story building; removal and relocation of a sewer and storm drain; construction of roads, ramps, right-of-ways and parking lots; designed and built over a mile of access road; and site backfill, grading and restoration activities. In addition, ENTACT designed and implemented a soil reuse plan that minimized the off-site disposal to 200,000 cubic yards resulting in significant cost savings to the project stakeholders.
